Pin an item to the homepage and the sidebar on the app

If a module, folder, article category, or zone is accessed often, pin it to the homepage and the sidebar so it's quicker to navigate to.

Adding or removing a pin requires the manage devices right, which is currently only assignable to admins. Operators can see and open pinned items, but can't pin or unpin one themselves.

Here’s how to pin an item:

  1. Navigate to the item that you would like to pin.
  2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the search bar.
  3. Click Pin this screen.

The pinned item will appear on the homepage and the sidebar, as shown below:

Note: You can pin multiple items.

Unpin an item from the homepage and the sidebar on the app

On the homepage or in the sidebar, click the X icon next to the pinned item.
