Configure a peripheral group or a peripheral device

After adding peripheral groups and peripheral devices to your Azumuta platform, you can configure them to suit your needs.

Here are the available configuration options:

Peripheral Groups

Edit a peripheral group

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the peripheral group that you would like to edit.
3. Click Edit.
4. After you’re done with your edits, click Save.

The available editing options will differ based on the peripheral group type.

Add a peripheral device to a peripheral group

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the targeted peripheral group.
3. Click Add peripheral.
4. Fill in the available fields (only the Name field is obligatory).
5. When you’re done, click Add.

See the list of instruction steps that are linked to a peripheral group

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click instruction steps next to a peripheral group.
3. Scroll down, and you will see the list of instruction steps that are linked to that peripheral group under Instruction steps. You can also click any of them, and you will be redirected to its instruction step editor afterward.

Archive a peripheral group

Before you can archive a peripheral group, make sure that there are no peripheral devices that fall under this peripheral group.

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the peripheral group that you would like to archive.
3. Click Archive.
4. Click Archive again.

Unarchive a peripheral group

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click Show Archived.
3. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the archived peripheral group.
4. Click Unarchive.

Delete a peripheral group

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the peripheral group that you wish to delete.
3. Click Remove.
4. Click Remove again.

Peripheral Devices

Edit a peripheral device

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the peripheral device that you would like to edit.
3. Click Edit.
4. After you’re done with your edits, click Save.

The available editing options will differ based on the peripheral device type.

See the list of devices that are linked to a peripheral device

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click devices next to a peripheral device.
3. There, you will see the list of devices that are linked to that peripheral device. If you click any of the devices, you will be redirected to the device management menu.

Archive a peripheral device

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the peripheral device that you would like to archive.
3. Click Archive.
4. Click Archive again.

Unarchive a peripheral device

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click Show Archived.
3. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the archived peripheral device.
4. Click Unarchive.

Delete a peripheral device

1. Click Peripherals under Management.
2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the peripheral device that you wish to delete.
3. Click Remove.
4. Click Remove again.
