This article covers device settings that let you make content available offline automatically on a device, so operators can keep working when the network drops.
How to Access the Offline Device Settings
- Click on "Devices" under "Management".
- Next to the device that you would like to configure, click on the three-dot icon.
- Click on "Edit device".
- Click on the "Offline" tab.
What Are the Possible Configuration Options?
- Under "Make content available offline automatically", tick which type(s) of content should be made available offline automatically on this device:
- Work instructions: the selected work instructions can be consulted freely while offline.
- Audits: planned audits can be started and finished while offline, with results being synced back when online.
- Products: planned product orders can be worked on while offline, with results being synced back when online.
- Under "Content", use the filter field and the tree below it to select which content should be downloaded automatically to this device. Make sure the device has enough available storage space for the content you select.
- Under "Date range", set the "Days before today" and "Days after today" fields. Only items planned within this date range will be downloaded. For example, if you set 1 day before and 7 days after today, items planned from yesterday up to 7 days from now will be included.
