The languages you configure here control which languages are available when translating work instructions and other content, for example in General and Visuals. They also determine the options a user can pick from as their Content language, see manage user accounts on a workspace.
This is separate from a user's Interface language, which controls the language of the Azumuta interface itself and is not limited to the languages configured here.
This setting is only available to admins who have access to Settings under Management. Read more about user rights for the Management tab.
Access the language settings
- Click Settings under Management.
- Click Languages under General.
Add a language
- Click Add language....
- Select a language from the list.
- Confirm to add it.
The new language is added to the bottom of the list and immediately becomes available wherever translatable content is entered.
Remove a language
- Next to the language, open the ⋮ (three-dot) menu.
- Click Remove....
- Confirm the removal.
You can't remove the last remaining language, at least one must stay configured. If you remove the language a user has set as their Content language, that user's Content language is automatically switched to the workspace's default language.
Removing a language does not delete any translations already entered for it. If you add the language back later, that content is available again.
Reorder languages and set the default
Use the up and down arrows next to a language to change its position in the list. The first language in the list is the default, shown with the (default) label.
There is no separate "set as default" action, so to change the default, reorder a different language to the top of the list.
