Instead of opening Product Orders one by one, you can select several (or all) of them in your Product Orders list and perform one action on the whole selection at once. Selection is unlimited, so this works just as well with a handful of orders as with thousands.
Select Product Orders
- Click Quality Management in the homepage sidebar and select Product Orders.
- Click the checkbox next to any Product Order to start a selection, or click the checkbox at the top of the list to select every Product Order currently loaded on screen.
- If more Product Orders match your current filter than are loaded, click Select all to extend the selection to every matching Product Order, not just the loaded ones.
Perform a bulk action
- With one or more Product Orders selected, click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to Actions on selected.
- Choose the action you want to apply.
The number next to each action shows how many of your selected Product Orders it can actually be applied to. A Product Order in the wrong status, or one you don't have the right to act on, is skipped rather than counted.
Available bulk actions:
- Activate: activate the selected Product Orders, the same as activating a Product Order individually.
- Finish: finish the selected Product Orders that your operators have completed.
- Force finish...: finish the selected Product Orders even if some of their Work Instructions are still open. You must enter a reason. Unlike force-finishing a single Product Order, the bulk action can't raise a linked issue, since an issue links to one Product Order at a time.
- Archive / Un-archive: archive or un-archive the selected Product Orders, the same as doing it one at a time.
- Upgrade Work Instructions...: update the Work Instructions on the selected Product Orders to a newer approved version. See Upgrade a Work Instruction on multiple Product Orders at once for the full walkthrough.
- Edit: change the variant, execution date, due date, executor, or amount for all selected Product Orders at once.
- Remove: permanently delete the selected Product Orders.
Note: Every action above, except Activate, requires the matching user right (for example, the right to finish, archive, edit, or remove Product Orders). An action you don't have the right for stays disabled in the menu.
