After linking parameters to an article, you can manually create a product order based on an article. That way, the parameters and variants linked to that article will be automatically configured on that product order. Of course, you can always edit these parameters later on if needed.
Here’s how to create a product order based on an article that has pre-configured parameters:
How to Create a Product Order Based on an Article That Has Pre-Configured Parameters
- Click Quality Management in the homepage sidebar and select Product orders.
- Click the Yellow plus button to create a product order.
- Click the Select an article dropdown menu, and choose the article. Then, the Work instructions, Variants, and Parameters fields will be automatically populated, as shown in the video. However, you can still edit them in step No. 6.
- Enter the product order number/name.
- Enter/edit the product order data on the existing fields (if needed).
- If you want to edit the product order variants & parameters, you can click the Variants &
- Parameters tab and enter the details there.
- Click Create product order when you’re done.
For any product order, you can check which parameters are used by clicking the Parameters button shown below:
How to Edit the Parameters in an Article-Based Product Order
- Click Quality Management in the homepage sidebar and select Product orders.
- Select the targeted product order, and click it.
- Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon.
- Click Edit.
- Click the Variants & Parameters tab.
- Do the edits under the Parameters section.
- When you’re done, click Save.
Tip: You can edit both the Key and Value columns, as well as adding new parameters ussing the Add field button.
