One of the ways of scheduling an audit is by using the Planning Tool. To do this:
Schedule a one-time audit using the planning calendar
- Click Audits & Digital Checklists on the homepage sidebar.
- Click Planning.
- Select the planning tab that contains the audit.
- Click the plus icon next to the audit you want to schedule.
- Click the date on which you want to execute this audit. You can also select multiple dates by dragging the mouse across the calendar (without releasing the click).
- Press escape on your keyboard to stop scheduling.
- Click the audit dot that you’ve just scheduled.
- After the audit editor has been opened, you can configure your audit technicalities there (the audit work instruction, the audit executor, adding additional notes, etc). You can also configure these technicalities later.
- Once you’ve finished configuring it, click the close icon.
Instruction version for a planned audit
The planning calendar does not have an instruction version selector. Planning an audit does not itself fix the instruction version or approve the work instruction.
An audit can receive an instruction version before execution through an offline download. The status stays Planned (IN_QUEUE) until the audit starts. Automatic downloads depend on the device’s selected content and date range.
See Device Settings: Offline and Instruction versions and report availability.
Schedule a recurring audit using the planning calendar
- Click Audits & Digital Checklists on the homepage sidebar.
- Click Planning.
- Select the planning tab that contains the audit.
- Click the plus icon next to the audit you want to schedule.
- Click the rotating arrows icon.
- Input the data.
- When you’re done, click Add events.
- Configure the existing fields (you can also close the pop-up and configure them later).
