Paste as a Copy vs Paste as a Reference: What's the Difference?
Plak als kopie: The pasted instructiestap is merely a copy of the original instructiestap and nothing more. They are not linked in any way. When a change is made in the pasted instructiestap, it will not happen in the original instructiestap. Similarly, if a change has been made in the original instructiestap, it will not happen in the pasted instructiestap as well.
Plak als referentie: The pasted instructiestap remains linked to the original instructiestap. When a change is made to one of the linked instructiestappen—be it the original or the pasted one—the change will also occur in all other linked instructiestappen.
Note: You can also choose the option below as a quicker way to plak als kopie.
How to Duplicate an Instruction Step
Besides copying & pasting an instructiestap, you can also dupliceren it. But how is dupliceren an instructiestap different from copying & pasting it?
In principle, dupliceren an instructiestap takes less Tijd and effort than copying & pasting it. From the werkinstructie Overzicht, it only takes 2 clicks to dupliceren an instructiestap. Afterward, the duplicated instructiestappen will immediately appear below the original instructiestap. If desired, you can also move the instructiestap around within the werkinstructie.
The duplicated instructiestap has a similar characteristic to "Plak als kopie" (please refer to the Richtlijn section above). It's not linked in any way to the original instructiestap.
Here's how to dupliceren an instructiestap:
- Navigate to the instructiestap that you would like to dupliceren.
- Click on the three-dot icon ("Meer acties") next to the existing instructiestap.
- Click on "Instructiestap dupliceren".
