How to Export a Work Instruction

  1. Navigate to the work instruction that you would like to export.
  2. Click Revision History.
  3. Next to the work instruction version that you would like to export (the latest version is always on top), click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon.
  4. Under Export, choose Export as importable file.
  5. Click Download file.

Note: If you choose XLSX file under Export, then you won't be able to import the work instruction to another location in Azumuta. This file type is only meant to be opened on Microsoft Excel (and other programs that support .xlsx files).

How to Import a Work Instruction

  1. Navigate to the location where you would like to import the work instructions. In this example, we will import a work instruction into a folder.
  2. Click the folder.
  3. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon next to the folder.
  4. Click Import work instruction.
  5. Select the work instruction file that you’ve exported previously.
  6. Edit new work instruction name (if desired).
  7. If desired, you can leave out some instruction blocks and/or instruction steps from being imported. To leave out something, click the Add dropdown menu next to the item that you would like to leave out, and click Ignore.
  8. Scroll down and click Start import.
  9. Wait until the import process is complete.
