Offline Product Orders
BETA Offline product orders are currently in beta and may still evolve.
Operators can now open and work on planned product orders on the device app without a network connection. Starting a work instruction downloads the product, recording, and media bundle to the device, so the order keeps working through connection drops and results sync back automatically once the device is online again. Finishing an order still requires connectivity.

Library Governance & Approval Safeguards
Archive Library Items as a Separate Right
Archiving and unarchiving items in the Explore tree is now controlled by its own "archive library items" right, separate from the broader edit right, so you can keep content lifecycle actions in dedicated hands. Users without the right no longer see the archive and unarchive actions, and the check is enforced on the server. Existing roles do not receive the new right automatically, so grant it explicitly after the update.

Approvals Blocked While Long-Running Changes Run
A work instruction now locks while a document import, Excel import, Content Sync, or save is running. The Approve and Import buttons are disabled with an explanatory tooltip until the operation finishes, so a version can no longer be approved while an import is still rewriting it.

Warnings When Archiving or Deleting Linked Work Instructions
When you archive or delete a work instruction that other instructions link to, the confirmation dialog warns you and lists the affected instructions. Link selectors and previews show a clear "archived" or "deleted" state for broken links instead of failing silently.

Identity, Access & Onboarding
Single Sign-On Even Without an Email Address
OIDC sign-in can now fall back to the userPrincipalName (or preferred_username) claim when the identity provider sends no usable email claim, which is common for Microsoft Entra ID users without a mailbox. It applies to login, signup, and signature callbacks, is opt-in per OIDC issuer through server configuration, and the fallback value must still be email-shaped.

Bulk User Import for Profile Fields and Custom Properties
The admin bulk user import now maps far more than the four standard fields. Alongside first name, name, email, and login identifier, you can map content and interface language, job title, mobile phone, web access, the operator analysis agreement, notes, and any user-scoped custom or mandatory properties, with required properties becoming required columns.

Onboard Cameraless Tablets with a Setup Code
Native tablets without a camera can be onboarded without scanning a QR code, by advertising a numeric setup code that an administrator approves from the web.

Set a Password from a Mobile Browser
Operators who receive a set-your-password, reset, or enrollment email on a phone can complete the flow directly from the mobile browser and are guided straight into the Azumuta mobile app.

Keep a Record of Answers a Rule Blocks
When an operator tries to submit an answer that a rule blocks, Azumuta now records the attempted answer as a check-attempt event instead of discarding it, captures which rule stopped it, and includes it in the report details and the recordings export API.

More Reliable Barcode Scanning
Barcode scanning in the app is more accurate and more resistant to misreads, especially for Code 39. A value is accepted only after the same code is read consistently across several frames, and a live on-screen box shows when a code is detected and confirmed.

Force-Close Product Orders with Open Work Instructions
Authorized admins can now force-finish a product order that still has open work instructions, gated behind a dedicated "force finish product orders" right. Closing opens a confirmation modal that requires a reason, stores the reason on the order, optionally raises a linked improvement issue, and cancels any open work instructions on the order.

Improvement, Issues & Competency
Restrict Improvement Flows and Boards per Tree Node
Admins can now choose which improvement boards and flows operators see when reporting on a specific Spot, Work Instruction, or Article Category. Pick whole boards (which automatically include flows added to them later) or a fixed set of individual flows, and only boards set to show on the operator screen appear in the picker. Selections propagate down the tree: descendants inherit a parent's selection and can add to it but cannot remove it, and with no selection anywhere operators continue to see all flows.

Filter Tickets Without an Assignee
The assignee filter on Improvement Boards now includes a "None" option, so you can directly list issues that have no user or group assigned in their current column.

See How Every Competency Was Obtained
Each competency training entry now records its source (finishing a product order in review mode, self-training, trainer-given training, or manual assignment from the skill matrix) and the Training History shows it, giving an audit-ready answer to who trained an operator and how.

Review Previous Executions From an Issue
Audit recordings linked to an issue in the operator app are now clickable and open as a read-only execution report, so operators can inspect what a previous shift filled in before signing off without leaving their flow.

Plan Ahead With Future-Looking Widget Date Ranges
Dashboard widget date pickers now support future periods, with presets like "Tomorrow", "Next week", and "Next month", and custom rolling windows that can extend into the future as well as the past (for example "last 2 weeks through next 1 week"), so planning-oriented widgets get the right time window.

Refreshed Azumuta Branding
The new Azumuta brand identity is applied across customer-visible surfaces: Simple Entry uses the new logo and brand color, PDF templates fall back to the new Azumuta icon when no company logo is configured (your own uploaded logos are unaffected), and the Andon button uses the refreshed color scheme.
